Find components
A Thing’s Sourcing tab can look up manufacturer part numbers and show recorded supplier observations. Confirm the manufacturer, currency, stock, and lead time with the supplier. A catalog observation is not a guaranteed current offer.
Choose a manufacturer
Manufacture this Thing offers MacroFab, Xometry, SendCutSend, OSH Cut, JLCPCB, and PCBWay. Suggestions are based on Thing type, not a manufacturability assessment. Quote and checkout flows currently continue on the provider’s website.
Prepare the package
Select the provider, order quantity, material or finish, and manufacturing notes. Review the selected files: linked files are selected initially, while other fabrication files from the revision are optional. Include the correct Gerber ZIP, drawings, or model for the intended part.
What is in the ZIP
The package contains selected files, a revision manifest with file hashes, and the recorded hierarchical BOM. BOM quantities are per parent occurrence, not multiplied by order quantity. Extract the package before uploading the relevant files to the provider.
Complete the quote
Click Continue to the provider and upload the required files. No files are sent automatically and no order is placed by downloading a package. PCB assembly may require a provider-specific BOM and placement file; missing fabrication data is not synthesized.
Direct quoting status
Production API pricing and ordering are not enabled. A restricted PCBWay sandbox adapter exists for integration testing when credentials are configured. Sandbox results are not production quotes.
