Getting started
From a repository to your first hardware project.
Create your account
Sign in to create projects, open issues, and participate in pull requests. Public projects and their files can be explored without an account.
Create or import a project
Choose Create → New project to start from scratch, or Import repository to bring in a GitHub repository. Choose an owner, a project name, and public or private visibility. Importing analyzes supported files and proposes Things; review that extraction before relying on it.
Review the results
Open Things to review the physical parts and assemblies. Check their types, quantities, associated files, and parent relationships. Open Files to inspect the original CAD and fabrication files. A successful import does not guarantee that every format or assembly relationship was understood.
Share a revision
Open Settings on your project to change its name, description, or visibility, review extracted Things, and optionally mark the current default-branch commit as a released version. Publishing does not change project visibility. Release pages keep their files and Thing definitions tied to that revision. Add a README to explain the design, required tools, and how to build it.
